4. Pick Up Your Vehicle and Get Acquainted

  • Pick up your adventure vehicle at the airport or any other convenient location. We’ll give you a thorough walk-around tutorial to familiarize you with all the features and equipment, ensuring you're ready for your journey.

5. Start Exploring

  • Set off on your adventure and explore the Big Island at your own pace. Whether you go north, south, or anywhere in between, the island is yours to discover.

6. Say Goodbye

  • When it's time to wrap up your adventure, you can either park the rig at the airport or drop it off in town—whichever is most convenient for you. We strive to make the return process as easy and flexible as possible.

    At Ready Rigs, we proudly offer our customers the Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road, the ultimate overland vehicle for your Big Island adventure. This rugged and reliable vehicle is equipped with top-of-the-line 4x4 capabilities, ensuring that you can conquer any terrain with ease. With advanced safety features and a built-in navigation system, you can explore the island confidently and conveniently. This 4Runner comes complete with a lift kit, larger off-road tires, skid plates, rock sliders, and a spacious rooftop tent for comfortable sleeping accommodations. Additionally, this rig comes equipped with an awning and an electric cooler, allowing you to relax in the shade and keep your food fresh throughout your journey.

    When you rent a vehicle from Ready Rigs, we make sure you have all the essential gear for a fantastic camping experience. Our standard package includes a rooftop tent, awning, chairs, an electric cooler, a table, camp stove, knives, pots and pans, plates, silverware, head lamps, a battery bank, first aid kit, and much more. We also offer the option to add a ground tent if desired, providing flexibility for your camping preferences. To enhance your adventure, we have additional gear available for rent, such as masks and snorkels, bodyboards, stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), and surfboards. Whether you're exploring the underwater world, catching waves, or simply enjoying the great outdoors, we have you covered.

During the booking process, let us know if you'd like any additional gear add-ons to tailor your experience. As you prepare for your trip, we recommend packing for multiple weather conditions since the island's weather can be variable. Once your booking is confirmed, we will provide you with a copy of our custom guidebook in the form of an eBook.
